Individual L2 Account Manager (Group Benefits, LTD)

We are currently looking to add our team with an exciting opportunity as Individual L2 Account Manager. This position is responsible for assisting the level 2 agents and outside level 2 agents with quotes and customer service issues both on U65, Medicare supplements and RX plans.If desired, there is potential for promotion to a sales position if initial role has been mastered.    

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect U65 information for quoting, and run quotes for U65, Medicare, and RX plans.
  • Act as a direct customer service agent for current and new clients.
  • Create renewals, and re-rate changes
  • Create and follow through on micro group policies for the level 2 agents
  • Continuously review statuses on applications
  • Enter all data for the agents in the proper platform
  • Handle all distribution of letters for the plans
  • Back up to the account support side of the business

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent, required
  • Life and Health insurance license, preferred

Technology Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Other Qualifications:

  • Being knowledgeable with the various Individual products.
  • Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
  • Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior and effort to achieve goals and objectives
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to multi task, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
