Accounting Support - Part Time

Summary: 

Acrisure has been named the fastest growing insurance brokerage firm three years in a row by Business Insurance Magazine.  We have over 200 locations across the US and continue to grow every month. 

To fuel that growth we have another exciting opportunity as an Accounting Support.  This position is responsible for clerical support functions relating to the accounting department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scan and attach documents to electronic files.
  • File vendor payables and other items.
  • Process invoices and statements for mailing.
  • Data entry.
  • Adhere to all systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations.
  • Perform special projects at management’s request.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent. 
  • Business classes or 1 year general office experience preferred.                            

Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and operation of 10-key pad helpful.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and efficient with excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to effectively work with others. 
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to deal with a large variety of personalities.

  • Moderate stress due to regular deadlines and daily challenges. 
  • High finger dexterity while typing documents and forms.
