Administrative Assistant - Human Resources

The Administrative Assistant will provide professional and confidential assistance for Acrisure Executives, some remotely. 

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative support related tasks, will be well organized and flexible, and must be able to function effectively in a variety of roles within a dynamic environment with minimum supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides general administrative support to Executives such as calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reports, meeting agendas, notes and presentations as needed

  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures

  • Creates, proofreads and publishes memoranda, correspondence, documents and reports often of a highly sensitive and confidential nature

  • Creates, organizes and maintains detailed, confidential and other office files or filing systems

  • Assist with department events and activities

  • Builds and manages a variety of special projects for executive management

  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures

  • Maintains materials and reports for signature that are accurate and complete

  • Reconciles benefit invoices and approves for payment

  • Assists other functional areas and agency personnel as time permits

  • Other projects as assigned

  • Limited travel is required

Education and/or Experience-

- Associate’s Degree or the recognized equivalent of education and experience is required

- Minimum of 2 years of general office experience required

- Some event planning experience preferred                 

Computer Skills-

- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and internet experience is required

Other Qualifications-

- Must be organized, detail and deadline oriented, and customer service focused

- Ability to effectively work with others using a positive, team-oriented attitude for a variety of personalities

- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have a high level of problem-solving skills    and ability to multi-task

Moderate stress due to regular deadlines and daily challenges.

High finger dexterity while performing data entry 60% of the time

Occasionally lift up to 20lbs.

Work Environment- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work is done in a temperature-controlled, non-smoking office.  Work stations are cubicles with moderately high sides. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Minimal travel is associated with this position.
