Commercial Lines Client Service Representative

Summary: 

Acrisure has been named the fastest growing insurance brokerage firm three years in a row by Business Insurance Magazine.  We have over 250 locations across the US and continue to grow every month.  To fuel that growth we have another exciting opportunity as a Commercial Lines Client Service Representative for Emerson Prew, an Acrisure Agency Partner.  This position is responsible for providing support to the Sales Executive/Producers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide limited technical support to Sales Executives/Producers, as directed
  • Process automatic renewals according to agency procedure
  • Complete and submit applications to eligible and appropriate carriers
  • Follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations
  • Order and issue binders, certificates and policies and verify their accuracy
  • Determine if direct or agency billing is appropriate and invoice accordingly
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to phone requests and clients’ needs
  • Prepare draft summaries of insurance and proposals as needed
  • Determine reasons for requests for cancellations and notifies Commercial Lines Manager

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent in education and experience is required. 
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working in insurance industry is required. 
  • Must possess active Property & Casualty Agents license. 

Computer Skills:

  • Demonstrated strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be organized, efficient, detail-oriented, ability to focus on multiple priorities and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, coworkers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to effectively work with a large variety of personalities

  • Moderate stress due to regular deadlines and daily challenges
