Insurance Customer Service Representative - Part Time

Summary: 

Acrisure has been named the fastest growing insurance brokerage firm three years in a row by Business Insurance Magazine.  We have 100 locations across the US and continue to grow every month.  To fuel that growth we have another exciting opportunity as a Insurance Customer Service Representative with Transportation Insurance Brokers, an Acrisure Agency Partner. 

This position is responsible for servicing assigned book of accounts and responsible for providing effective, accurate, courteous support to clients and colleagues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from clients and assisting them with their questions, needs, or concerns.
  • Process all requests such as: adding or removing a vehicles, binding new or renewal business, issuing FH1 or ID cards, certificates, invoicing, checking and mailing out policies, requesting cancellation, reinstatement.
  • Partner with the sales and accounting team to meet and exceed client’s service expectations.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of insurance industry and/or customer service experience required.                 

Computer Skills:

  • PC Skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of EPIC, TAM Systems preferred. 

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task and be efficient with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must also have the ability to work effectively with others.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to effectively work with a large variety of personalities.

  • Moderate stress due to regular deadlines and daily challenges. 
  • High finger dexterity while typing documents and forms
