Commercial Lines Assistant

Summary: 

Acrisure has been named the fastest growing insurance brokerage firm three years in a row by Business Insurance Magazine.  We have 100 locations across the US and continue to grow every month.  To fuel that growth we have another exciting opportunity as a Commercial Lines Assistant with The Huttenlocher Group, an Acrisure Agency Partner.  This position is responsible for assisting the Sr. Client Service Managers and Client Service Managers with service needs and making changes to existing accounts as directed.  This position will be expected to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous support and service to clients and coworkers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Sr. Client Service Managers and Client Service Managers as directed
  • Amend Applications and schedules as directed
  • Order change requests and loss runs as directed
  • Process endorsements and first policy check in accordance with agency procedures
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to phone requests and clients’ needs
  • Keep up to date on activities

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must possess high school diploma or the recognized equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial insurance is preferred

Computer Skills:

  • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be able to set priorities and manage work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities on a consistent basis
  • Maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, coworkers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to effectively work with a large variety of personalities
  • Willingness to learn/study to eventually achieve Property & Casualty license
