Commercial Insurance Account Manager Assistant

Summary: Acrisure has been named the fastest growing insurance brokerage firm three years in a row by Business Insurance Magazine.  We have over 200 locations across the US and growing every month.  To fuel that growth we have another exciting opportunity as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager Assistant with Amorelli, Rosemann & Associates, Inc., an Acrisure Agency Partner.  This position will be responsible for providing superior customer service that exceeds our customers’ expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Market new and renewal business to preferred markets and E&S markets.
  • Work efficiently and productively in assisting corresponding Account Manager.
  • Data entry in the agency management system.
  • Issue certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, endorsement forms, and carrier product/knowledge to customers.
  • Market new and renewal business to preferred markets and E&S markets.
  • Answer phones, gather information and direct calls.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in the insurance industry is required.
  • Must possess an active P&C License.

Computer Skills:

  • Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and internet are required.
  • Experience working with AMS360 or similar management system is preferred.

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be organized, detail oriented, able to multitask and be efficient with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must also have the ability to effectively work with others. 
  • Must have a high level of problem-solving skills.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to effectively work with a large variety of personalities.

  • Moderate stress due to regular deadlines and daily challenges. 
  • High finger dexterity while typing documents and forms.
